Y llegamos al fin de semana, para que pasen un momento de relax nada mejor que esta canción. De vez en cuando la pasan en los comerciales de Warner Channel así que seguro ya sabes de qué serie se trata y si no aquí te la paso.

Como dice el título del post, si esta canción no te relaja (o al menos te arranca una risa) definitivamente no eres de este planeta jeje XD.

Sobre el iPad, los cómics digitales y más

Hace menos de una semana salió a la venta el juguete más reciente de Apple: el iPad. Este pequeño aparato se ha convertido en todo un fenómeno a nivel mundial ofreciendo a los millones de "tecno-sexuales" un nuevo concepto de entretenimiento y funcionalidad tal como lo hizo el ya conocido iPhone hace un par de años.

Este dispositivo ha generado además un gran impacto en el mundo del cómic digital ya que gracias a aplicaciones especiales como la desarrollada por Marvel, cualquier persona (o mejor dicho fanboy) podrá comprar y leer tradicionales cómics como Spiderman, Hulk, Iron Man, los 4 Fantásticos o los X-Men.

La particularidad de esta aplicación está en el hecho de incluir distintos formatos para leer los cómics haciendo que el lector se sumerja en un remolino de progresión continua y acción a montones con el toque de un dedo.

Si bien, el tamaño del dispositivo nos permite una lectura fácil y cómoda, sin estar esforzando la vista, creo que se pierde la esencia de leer un cómic pues nada se iguala al hecho de leerlo en su versión impresa, sentir ese olor especial del papel, el tacto con las hojas es una experiencia que definitivamente sobrepasa todo adelanto tecnológico por más bueno que este sea. Y si eres del grupo de "frikis", "fanboys" o "geeks" que coleccionan cómics y los cuidan como si fueran verdaderas joyas leer un cómic en un iPad, iPhone, netbook, laptop o en tu PC de casa pues "no es la voz".

Ahora bien, tampoco se trata de vivir en el pasado. Las nuevas generaciones están más acostumbradas a estar horas frente a la computadora y eso lo saben muy bien las grandes compañías como Marvel y DC, las cuales aprovechan las nuevas tecnologías para acercarse a nuevos grupos de lectores de cómics. Si bien esto ha permitido difundir aún más los cómics, no sólo mainstream sino también independientes, hacen peligrar el futuro de los cómics impresos.

Así es, en estos nuevos tiempos, donde cada vez la tecnología facilita y promueve la lectura de cómics digitales la industria del cómic a nivel mundial se está preparando para ver cómo esto afectará a la distribución actual del cómic en papel y si las reorganizaciones observadas en las industrias de impresión que será experimentado por los comics.

Hay que señalar que en la actualidad, la mayoría de los cómics de impresión se distribuyen a través de las tiendas locales de cómic, y al igual que como sucede con las tiendas que comercializan CDs y DVDs, hay una creciente preocupación de que estas tiendas especializadas no podrán competir en el futuro. No obstante, hay quienes creen que los cómics digitales podrían aumentar exponencialmente la audiencia de lectores  permitiéndole a la industria en general no sólo sobrevivir sino prosperar.

La pregunta del millón sería entonces: ¿se están consiguiendo nuevos lectores? ¿o sólo son los mismos lectores que ya compran cómics impresos? Sólo el tiempo lo dirá y recién ahí sabremos si los cómics digitales representan una amenaza o una oportunidad para los industria de cómics impresos.

En lo que a mí respecta, seguiré leyendo cómics digitales siempre que se trate de números muy antiguos o títulos clásicos difíciles de encontrar porque como dije antes, nada iguala al hecho de leer un buen cómic en su versión tradicional!

Un team-up marveliano de lujo: Astonishing Spiderman/Wolverine


Tal vez alguno de ustedes ya esté enterado de esta buena nueva, pero para los que no lo esten, aqui una pequeña reseña sobre este próximo lanzamiento de la Casa de las Ideas. Marvel ha revelado la portada y algunas páginas de uno de los cómics más esperados del año, me refiero a ASTONISHING SPIDERMAN/WOLVERINE #1, resultado del trabajo conjunto de dos de los más destacados talentos del medio: Jason Aaron y Adam Kubert.

Spiderman y Wolverine debutan juntos en el primer gran número de una serie que promete grandes dosis de acción y aventuras extremas en un viaje impresionante a los límites del Universo Marvel, el cual repercutirá profundamente en ambos personajes.

Así, la serie Astonishing Spiderman/Wolverine se centrará en contar algunos team-up entre estos dos grandes héroes enfrentando a poderosos seres como The Czar, Big Murder y Doom The Living Planet. Sin embargo, detrás de todo pareciera estar un supervillano más grande... así las cosas, podrán Spidey y Wolvie abstenerse de enfrentamientos y trabajar juntos como equipo? o se destruirán en el proceso?

En mi opinión este cómic es altamente recomendable ya que podremos ver en acción a dos personajes icónicos de Marvel haciendo equipo al mismo estilo de Superman/Batman de la DC. Un dato más: SPIDERMAN/WOLVERINE #1 sale a la venta el 5 de mayo, estén atentos!
